Looking for a new job
If you haven’t heard, I am trying to find a job now. I have been trying for several weeks but have not been successful so far.
In the beginning I have sent out many many emails with my resume and motivation, responses? Only 20%, the rest just did not bother to even write back they were not interested I guess.
If I come to think about it is kind of double-sided isn’t it? If I were a company having a vacancy I can image that I would want good motivation letter too, and not have time to respond to each and every one of them. But as a sender of these mails, I find this rude, very very rude.
Also, the longer you search the harder you doubt yourself, although that is not fair to do so. You go think too hard and too deep on why these companies might not be responding. Even though the ones that do respond are 200% positive and enthusiastic, what is wrong with you that not all respond? Nothing, I know, nothing is wrong, just keep on trying.
