About me
I am living in picturesque Boxtel (view from our balcony is pictured below), with my fiancee Kees Meijs and Minoes our cat.
Previously I have studied Industrial Design and gained my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Eindhoven. It was there that I realized that design is so subjective that the people who excel in their work do not need an education in it. And since I did not excel yet, and was hoping an education would help, it was of no use to me really. However I did learn many great skills, it did not make me the designers I thought I would be.
So, after by BsC I started a small one-women business, giving me the opportunity to do some freelance work on the side. I got involved in event organization and did some of my own, but it was not challenging me creatively enough. So I sought and found a steady job with growing opportunities, at Philips Consumer Lifestyle.
For almost two years I’ve been working there and got involved in the online campaigns, working with many agencies and the internal marketing clients. It was a great time, in which I have learned loads on IT, servers and code, but even more on project management, design and marketing. The expected growth took place in developing myself mainly. Time for me to find myself a new job, with more room to spread my wings…
Now I have found a new adventure six months ago, as Online Marketing Manager for Novasol. Here I will develop myself further as online marketing all-round professional.
